This solves the PDF problem in Joomla! 1.5 where any PDF file fails to display correctly in IE7. The usual symptom is that the pop-up window is empty.

If you know the format and address of the particluar mobile phone service providor then you can send an SMS message to a cell phone using an email client such as Outlook 2003.
For us network engineers, this is particularily usefull sending alerts from network monitoring software.

On April 30th, 2009 Sprint announced that they were dropping CNN and Fox Sports. In 2009 they have removed practically every channel worth watching, leaving us with no live news and very little or useless "live" content. Not that I ever really got decent streaming on my Instinct in the first place which all adds up to a failure to provide Sprint customers with decent programming.
The only channel I really watched was the real time news!!!!!!
I give Sprint TV a failing grade of F- minus.

The best video format for the Sprint Samsung Instinct is the MPEG4 format. There's a free video format converter called Pazera Free PSP Video Converter 1.1. It doesn't appear to have any adware or other nuisance prompts built into it. It's available at:

Most ISP's will not allow you send outgoing SMTP email through thier servers for security reasons. However, Sprint provides an outgoing SMTP server that will preserve the email format and retain the From: (your) email address. It's a little tricky to set up though.
These instructions were designed with the Samsung Instinct in mind but, technically, they can be followed for any phone that supports Sprint Mobile Email. In addition, if you know the Incoming Mail Server for your email ISP, you should be able to use these instuctions for Cox, TWC, Comcast, Bright House, and Juno.
If you have already configured as POP3 on your phone for the account in question (unsuccessfully), you will need to delete it and add a new one.

When one peer of an active channel unexpectedly loses the connection (ex :disconnect from network, power shortage etc.), the channel stays alive. After the extension trieds to login again, when it's called you get the message "the extension number xxxx is on the phone, please ....." The extension can still make outgoing calls.
